Hello sunny L.A.!

And I thought I would never see the sunlight of internet until we settled down in our new apartment!

We've been here for more than a week and all I can say is that the weather here is pretty much just right for me. More oriental stores, Filipino groceries, Filipino food, and Filipinos everywhere. Auntie Aida was right. It's like I'm in the other side of the Philippines.

I just missed one thing in Virginia. Where are the trees?

Hubee already knew that I would be looking for them here so we took pictures of the highways in VA and visited the fading green color of the leaves as Fall season made its way.

And yeah I found out that I got tons of friends here mostly from College. Avelyn already toured me in Anaheim and Downtown Disney. Hubee and I met her sweet and funny boyfriend Robert. An American who happens to love Filipino food. Isn't that amazing?

I also found out that we're living in a filthy rich county with the most expensive things we could ever need. Expensive shelter, gasoline, food, and on top of that the dreaded huge taxes. Our $8.00 each would have been a meal for the both of us in Virginia. We really need to get hold of our budget or else we end up spending without saving something for the rainy days.

Hubee spent Trick or Treat in the office. There were tons of leftover candies in their office so everyday when he gets home he brings me those sweet pumpkin-colored gummies as my treat for being patient and do nothing but wait for him so I can go online again. Isn't he so sweet? That's my hubbeeness :)

Last weekened we went to Raymund and Ina's house. It was so nice to see one of my best buddies in the same State. Sean, my inaanak, is so handsome and sweet. They're preparing for a long vacation in Manila so I'm really gonna miss them.

Hopefully on the third week of November we're moving in to our new small apartment. We'll let you know! ;>)
