No more co-sleeping!

My 6-month-old baby fell from the bed with face flat on the floor I have no idea how she fell but her cry woke me up like a soldier heading to the battlefield.

I heard her cry hoping she's hungry or wet but when I opened my eyes and turned to her side, I was so deeply horrified she's nowhere in my sight. I was never been so scared in my life seeing my little one helpless on the floor. As I hurriedly approach her all I could think of is "call 911...call 911".

I quickly looked at her face, still shaking and expecting to find something more horrible. But thank God (and Thank you really Lord!) she turned out OK. If our floor is not carpeted, I would never ever forgive myself.

I held her so tight and carried her all morning and vowed to make sure it will never happen again.

She smiled and giggled afterwards and so so thankful for another assurance that she was indeed fine. Now the next thing to think about is to mention it to her pediatrician which I'm very sure to be scolded (I deserve it!) told her before she sleeps in the crib. Well, she does every afternoon and upon sleeping at night but when she cries at night for her first feeding I take her and put her to sleep between me and Poms.

Bienne is rolling fast, crawling backwards fast, and does something new everyday. I'm very happy she's hitting the milestones on time but should always bear in mind to be extra cautious. Careful, careful, careful and alert!
